my shoutout to MLC!!

all the grade 8 girls decided that we need a new classroom for grade 9... it's not fair if we always have to stay in the same classroom all the time just because we have a small amount students, it's just not fair... we have been in this classroom for about 3 years already! according to me, we have to have a new environment at least once in a couple years, i dont like the idea of being stuck in this class room forever!!

with loooove,
MS

p.s. the AC's really hot too, we might need a new one...

this blog means no harm, no hard feelings, i just wanted to say what i feel... i hope these will happen...

Hello Marsha Wonka,

It is certainly not fair, but again life is never fair!

Just joking.

However,

(1) Good things will come to those who are patient.
Have you thought that since you are the highest grade, you will be the first ones in line for a brand new place when the time comes?

(2) The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.

There are those who would love to have your room and probably they are waiting for all of you to move out so they can move in! For one, I would love to have your room as my private study. But I have competition. I know there are others who are eyeing your room and just waiting to inherit from you one of the nicest and quietest corners of the building.

(3)Sometimes we do not appreciate what we have until it is not there anymore.

(4) Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Just like an old and a new house. Once we move to a new house, we are all excited but then after a while that excitement dies down a little and one day when we are back to our old house, perhaps just for a short visit, we have fond memories of the place.
Sooner or later you will go on to Grade 9,and then 10, then 11 and 12(at least all your teachers hope so!) and the room where you spent three years of your life in the company of good old friends will become part of your memories, of growing up, of going to school and of being stuck in that room! If you ever become a writer, this part of your life could be your inspiration for interesting stories about the group of girls who survived one clasroom for 3 years.

(4) If you can't move out, then change the inside.

In the meantime, and until you can go somewhere else, how about making the best of what you have now, and decorating your classroom so that it reflects your different personalities? That way, once you have all moved on (and out of that room) we will always remember your classroom as the home of the 5 successful kids who were the first to graduate from Room 304. You'll be legends in school lore (lore means tradition).

So, hang on a little longer and you'll be going places even if that means moving in with the preschool.

Seriously, though, we hear you, don't worry.
